and now.. my grandma is hospitalized.. had to visit her this few days... but nothing serious though... bad stomachache i presume... hope she get well soon.. =X

phew... finally a rest.. after an entire week of work.. 4 days working at SPH and 1 day working at F&C...

SPH!! very tiring sia.. have to move boxes around... those like 20kg each type.. sian.. moved like 15 of them down 1 floor on the 1st day.. zzz aching all over liao.. oso... i have to find invoices... they like... give me 16 9-digits number.. n then tell me to find them.. in a stack of like 5000 invoices at least? o.O.. giddy giddy liao @.@... alot stuff to do sia.. but mostly all easy n no need thinking.. but then its repetitive la.. have to do same thing over n over for a long period of time...

oso got 1 part jiat lat 1 is tat i have to sort invoices... BY NUMERICAL ORDER... sian sian sian.. like got 1000 of them sia.. the invoices... but then time pass very quickly when i m doing tat.. =)

GOT MY PAY! from F&C... n submitted the form up to recruit express liao.. hope get them bank in soon =) n before they are even banked in.. i already spent $80 =.= on a new pair of earphones!! MUAHHAHAHA! Creative 630i! bought it at COMEX yesterday! muahhahaha finally a good new pair of earphones.. tats iphone compatible.... n bcos of the "i" in "630i"... it costs $30 more =.= cos of the microphone n music controls for iphone.. muahhaha can replace my old pair liao!

more games to play... less time to blog... soon.. its gonna be the part time job tats gonna to occupy my time...went to interview today... n got in!! OFFICEBOY! lol... will be doing odd jobs.. mainly like filing stuff.. sorting invoices.. moving files.. dunno la.. should be random work la.. at SPH... singapore press holdings!~ lol... TMR START WORK LO!!! 8.30am - 6pm... haha.. gonna be busy... LOL.. now got 2 job liao... one is the job at SPH.. and 1 job saturday work only.. at my old company F&C.. and F&C i m a telephone operator!~ anyone want to order LPG gas can call 65656565! lol.. can listen to my voice when u call on saturday mornings.. LOL..

ok a quick summary of wad i do these few days..

THURSDAY -
ECP!!! cycle 3hrs... me, hong ching, isnady, jiamin, and joseph... met up with matthias in the evening at bugis... fish and co dinner! haha... $22 per person for me n matthias cos we ordered seafood platter for both.. each get 5 prawns, 2 mussels, fries, rice, half a fish and sotongs! dam full sia.. considering tat i ate mcnuggets student meal at around 3pm?

FRIDAY -
iPhone 3G OUT IN SINGAPORE!!!! not getting 1 though.. iPhone still good enough =) but siao sia the price.. $50 plan every month still have to pay $600+ for it.. or can get it free with the $205/mth plan.. siao 1.. only rich people buy.. didnt regret buying my iphone.. still quite a good deal.. got it $750 bout half a yr ago..

SATURDAY -
1st day at work! actually not 1st day bah.. 1st day for this holiday... F&C! number of order so-so... had dried mee pok for lunch! missed the mee pok sia... so long never eat liao... n so fast 4mths past liao... work work work! money money money! muahahahhahaha~

SUNDAY -
went to eat sakura buffet with my family! $20 per person for lunch! eat until dam full sia... bout 10 sushis... 1 full plate of rice with like 5 servings of meat.... 1 bowl of mushroom soup... abit of chicken chop, lamp chop, beef chop... 3 scoops of ice-cream... 5 of those mini-cakes... AND FINALLY.. a self-made float.. LOL.. mixed the ice-cream wif the F&N cherryade LOL... full full!

TODAY -
went to interview at SPH... a 15mins walk frm potong pasir MRT station... after the interview.. like not even 30mins... the agency called us tat we kena selected! WOOT! yea! went straight down back to ngee ann city wif sam.. to sign the contract..

after the interview.. went wif sam to meet with his brother.. played battlefield 2!~ dam fun sia! played with sam.. his brother.. and his brother's NS buddies.. total like 16 person.. at LAN shop.. LOL.. 8v8.. dam fun sia..

hohoho... thanks ivory! called job agency liao... the jane told me to go down to tower A ngee ann city for job interview.. FINALLY! hopefully its a easy job... the person asked me if any of my friend also looking for job can bring along too... asked hong ching.. he wan to go overseas... asked danial... he no time........ COS TMR HE GOT TEST! muahahahahhaha haha danial! see la BMS!~ test test test... jkjk lol... ok.. called sam... he agreed to go with me! haha.. if not i dam sian solo the job..

k la... was a bit late in calling sam... have to wait for him for like 1hr or so at ngee ann city... the interview was kinda short.. but i think we should be able to get the job.. please please please =X

after the interview.. we decided to go plaza singapura to watch movie... lol..guessed wad we watched.. MONEY NO ENOUGH 2... lol.... so contradicting... i no money liao go watch money no enough even no money later LOL... the movie is ok.. but the ending part very sad.... =( nearly cried... LOL...

however.. the starting part.. dam extra la... not trying to look down on them but.. the cg stuff bout the ERP thing is below wad i expected... i think if they cant do a proper animation/cg effect (or wadever tat thing is called) they could just leave the thing out.. maybe my expectation of those cg stuff is high.. perhaps after the visit to digipen tat had raised my expectations bah... CG ERP looks cheap as compared to the new york in cloverfield..

its bcos of GPRS charges... stupid iphone... i go upgrade the firmware... then it so smart.. so sneaky.. recognized my singtel sim card.. cos iphone 3g gonna launch in singapore..... THEN... AUTO-ENABLED my GPRS.. which i orignally manually disabled... i released it a little too late... $14.05 NOOOOOO

sian sia... singtel n apple so cheat money 1... ok la partly my fault la.. but then they so sneaky auto enable their "income generator".. and wad more.. i turned on my WIFI... they stupid stupid.. or should i say smart smart.... use my GPRS instead of the FASTER.. CHEAPER... WIFI... sian sian sian.. they all out to earn my 14.05...

and that $14.05.... is because... i used 4MB of data........ FOUR megabyte... OMG... FOUR FOUR FOUR... 4mb not even a song la.. n they charged $14.05 =.= used less than 5 seconds of google nia... =.= till i see the speed like so slow compared to last time.. then i noe they using GPRS..

lol.. now become like i wan vent my anger.. but actually not angry la.. just tat i felt its unfair lo... lucky is not like a thousand dollar bill or something... cos i use wifi on my phone alot.. if i had not noticed.. i think it will be at least $10,000... cos i heavy wifi user on my iphone.... heng heng heng...

today i went to zoo!~ LOL.... no i m not there to see animals in enclosures...

...guess who tell me to go 1.... ORAN.. LOL.... =.= y would a lecturer want to go zoo with his student 1 on 1? cos........ will wrights.. the developer for titles like "Sim City", "The Sims", and the upcoming "Spore" is here in singapore.. and hes giving a talk in the zoo... LOL...

ok.. its like so last minute... i have to be in the ZOO out of all places in like 2hr from time of notice.. cos oran say the management got the email a week ago.. but just told him about this event this morning.. he wanted to grab more students to go too.. but in the end only i most ON can make it in zoo within short notice... LOL took taxi there to zoo.. lol... claim from school!~ hahahahahha.....

ok... so at there.. actually nothing much.. only listen to will wrights talk... but really cool la.. hes a game designer.. and his game are so popular and innovative.. like the upcoming Spore game.. i want to buy!!!! after his talk.. there are booths where we can try out the Spore Creature Creator.. i already got the game.. so its kinda boring n nothing new to me.. i thought its SNEAK PEEK for the actual game itself sia... if it is then will like be so privilleged... cos its out only next month.. 7th September... oh well..

haha~ got free goodie bag... lol =.= inside got spore sticker.. spore tattoo... a water bottle... some badges.. n a discovery channel magazine.... and also.. a scratch card with a code to redeem my free Spore creature creator online... NATIONAL DAY! happy belated birthday singapore! went to marina square with ivory, jiamin and alexis to watch the fireworks... alot people sia.... i am already late.. and with the crowd... i m more late... lol... and i cant find the burger king in marina square =.= sorry for being so late...

after watching the ladies have their dinner slowly..... we went to find a place to view the fireworks later on... alot people sia.. found a "nice" place somewhere on the stairs.. then got 1 long john silver smoker come smoke here.. then they all complain about the smoke.. but for me.. i suddenly want to eat long john silver! LOL... =.= in the end... long john silver is full.. went to yoshinoya instead... lol..

after my meal.. we went outside to the same spot again to wait for the fireworks.. THE FIREWORKS NICE SIA.. but dam short leh... zzzzzzz singapore poor no money buy enough fireworks...

we left after most of the crowd is gone.. but then still jam inside the mall.... =.=

(actually cos my macbook pro overheat like siao.... after the graphic demanding mass effect on every settings to high.. somemore i still go overclock my internal fan to make it go faster.. and also use the coolermaster notepal... one of the best laptop cooler out there... $50 sia.. and no use.. it still overheats!! arrrrrrrghh cant take it... overheat until keyboard nearly caught fire... o.O) i need to play a variety of games (as said by agus.) cos i gonna be a programmer. i need to play games of different genres and see how they work.. ;)

this post shows all of the games i have currently.. and my progress in them... and maybe a quick review of the games? am i able to finish them all during holidays? o.O finally a time to clear off my games.. its like something there and i want to finish it.. if not like uneasy leh.. LOL..... ignore this post if you have total no interest in games.

Assassin Creed - i think got complete like 60% bah.. got sian-ed.. jumping off buildings to haystacks is fun.. but it gets boring after u do it like 30 times.
Battlefield 2 - fun game! no storyline just pure mindless killing.... shoot shoot die china people! not being racist here.. just that i usually am in the US squad.. killing china squad.. dun sue me for this. please. =(
Bioshock - 70% completed or so? but i restarted.. lost my save game.. now 25%? zzz weapons that you could upgrade in your arsenal? good. genetically modified left hand? priceless.
Call of Duty 2 - the only game that i played much on my mac partition... never touched the single player.. but enjoyed multiplayer with classmates over lan!
Call of Duty 4 - 100% completed single player.. multiplayer still kick ass! gonna train up before another fight with Oran.... hack and slash clan.. here i come!
Command and Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars/Kane's Wrath - 20% on single player? seriously no time. and its kinda hard too.. stuck at a level... maybe i am just a noob. yup i am a noob. giving it another try in the near future..
Counter-Strike 1.6/Source - BOTS KILLING! muahahhahaha but gets boring in a while.. cos i am seriously totally a noob.. got owned by easy bots LOL haha.. i really do suck. easy bots... no way.. =(
Crysis - 100% completed single player on easiest level.. o.O maybe trying again with a higher difficulty.. game with best graphic ever.. dun mind playing it all over again. nanosuit totally owns.
Devil May Cry 3 - downloaded it. played it. 1 mission. right after i finished devil may cry 4. graphic difference is too big. cant take the ps1 kinda standard of graphic. quit it. LOL... will try it in future... fun gameplay though.. but graphic kinda suck.. especially after playing devil may cry 4.
Devil May Cry 4 - seriously a good game.. dam fun. DANTE GUNSLINGER PANDORA FTW! lol... graphic totally kick ass.. 100% completion in the mission.. but theres like still a few more difficulty yet to be unlocked... maybe i will play again.. or maybe not.
Gears of War - nice graphic.. but then... i cant get used to the controls.. hard sia.. and the mobs like so hard kill and so hard aim and so hard reload... or am i a noob here too? 1% completion in the game? maybe.
GTA San Andreas - one of the best games i ever played.. completed 100% like last year... installed it back on my mac so that i could play before the release of gta iv on pc... CANT WAIT CANT WAIT.. guess i will be playing san andreas to fill the gap right now.
Hitman Blood Money - 1% completion? or 2%.. not sure.. downloaded it not long ago.. looks like an interesting game.. but then i think its quite a slow-paced game from what i have played so far... I WAN FAST ACTION! bang bang shoot shoot kill kill!
Lost Empire - Immortals - game that came with my mass effect? o.O doesnt come with retail mass effect.. comes with underground mass effect ;) see game sian liao.. spaceship strategy kinda game.. dun think i will ever touch it.. but installed it anyway.. hey.. 30RM leh.. for mass effect.. must make full use of the 30RM.. LOL
Lost Planet Extreme Condition - played it like for 5mins... not tat good from what i have seen.. maybe i was wrong.. gonna give it 1 more chance before i ditch it in a corner.. hongching n jiamin.. remember the 3 retarded soldiers kena stuck at the path there? LOL!!!!!
Mass Effect - just got this game like less than 12hrs ago.. been playing it n its addicting.. i unwillingly stopped playing the game to blog.
Need for Speed Most Wanted - 80% completion? but saved file gone.. just like bioshock.. cos of reformatting of harddisk.. fun game.. dun think i will be playing the career all over again.. however.. maybe i will go in and have a spin on my porsche. vroom vroom! muahaha!
Need for Speed Underground 2 - 70% or so completion? its same as most wanted, only minus the cops and the entire game is at night.. cool neon lights under the cars.. loved them all.
similarly.. going back in once in a while to have a spin.. this time on my seriously pimped toyota LOL..
Oblivion - rated as one of the best RPG of all times.. been a RPG fan myself.. played if for.. 1hr. LOL.. dun see the fun in it.. maybe giving it another try in the future.. hope i finally realize the goodness in it..
Hellgate London - the game. that i got the collector edition for $80 with a character figurine. and i queued up for 1hr in funan during the launch. AND... most importantly.. during my O levels... LOL!!!!! total letdown. played it over once.. and it gets boring.. dun think its worth my $80.. online play was like having onli 1000 people online then.... guess its like down to less than 100 now?
Portal - most unique game i ever seen. its a 3d puzzle game.. where by you create portal and you can move in and come out to n fro portals.. enjoyed it totally. every single part.. too bad its so short.. completed in 5hrs? I WANT MORE! more more more!
Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 - just downloaded it yesterday.. havent really started... although i totally enjoyed rollercoaster tycoon 1 when i am in primary school.. gonna try it soon.. rollercoasters with high nausea rating here i come!
SPORE creature creator - not exactly a game.. but i enjoyed playing it! for 1hr. LOL... waiting for the actual game to come out.. cant wait.. its gonna be big! The Sims series... step aside.. here comes SPORE!
SWAT 4 - downloaded it not long ago too.. before rollercoaster tycoon 3.. fun so far.. but total time spent on it is like 30mins. played before SWAT 3... fun game.. or do i not play enough game so i call every game i played fun last time? maybe... maybe not. hope not. tetris is fun! ;)
Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 - played it a while.. then i got Tony Hawk Underground 2 from hong ching.. totally replaced it.. may play it back later on..
Tony Hawk Underground 2 - fun skateboard game.. completed before on the PSP.. now playing it on my big 15" screen macbook.. now i can see tony hawk face more clearly now o.O
Ultimate Spider-man - i love web swings! free roam in city when you could swing in webs? endless fun. 20% completed bah... would seriously continue it if not for the lack of time.. or maybe due to other better games?
Warcraft 3 - Frozen Throne - the good old days in secondary school... been playing since dota 5.84c.. LOL.. now like dota 6.53.. after like 3 years++? dun really like dota though.. but enjoyed TDs! also.. i have made before a map for warcraft 3.. a RPG.. i made it with my friends... used like 1 month? been introduced to ABIT of programming then.. ABIT NIA..
World of Warcraft - the game tat i played for 3months or so... $120 for the game and expansion.. another $60 for 2 months of game time.. okay... the game is fun.. and i think the money is well spent.. although buying the $120 game to play for only 3months is like wasted... this game is now installed in my mac partition... only game besides COD2... free private servers for now.. till i get enough time and wrath of lich king expansion out to buy game card for $60 for 2 months of gameplay..
X-Men Legends 2 - 60% completed or so? save file gone too.. reformatting of harddisk... quite fun game.. but gets boring fast too.. u get to choose 4 superheroes out of the many and you can control either one of them at any time.. super cool sia.. with all those superhero powers...

HOLIDAYS!!!!! FINALLY!! no exams!~

wooohooo thanks choon yee for buying mass effect for me =) muhahahaha something to occupy myself during the holidays... furthermore, i dl-ed like so many games.. hvnt even STARTED on a few of them yet... guess i will be busy during the holidays o.O dun think i will be blogging that frequently in holidays liao.. cos i dun think i got anything to blog bah... except my progress in games? o.O dun think so....

btw... holidays... i am free anytime!!! able to stop playing my games now and then to hang out with friends... HOLIDAYS! at last... actually not holidays yet.. but it seems like holiday liao... today go school only to ~~finish~~ start doing my magazine cover.. and also my logo! for GDF!.... erm.... actually not for GDF.. dunno for wad la.. eric wan us to do we do lor...

anyway... managed to ~~crap out~~ nicely finish and done after ~~less than 1/2hr~~ alot of time spent on it... ;) went for lunch at canteen 2 with matthias and shikin... and supposedly hong ching as well.. but in the end hong ching (sorry hong ching =()waited in the printing shop while we 3 EAT! haha.. ate western food.. cheaper than canteen 3.. but not as nice =X returned back to library to do DPM magazine cover AFTER waiting for printing and watching hong ching to eat solo...

while doing my dpm cover... eric came... he rejected ALL of our ideas?!?!?! he tell us to all redo.. n a few.. including me.. have to redo 3! for him! arrghhhh.. i not tat free!! ~~i wan to play DMC 1!!~~

anyway... after leaving library, me matthias haiqal and shayne when to KAP mac to eat lunch! or should i say my second lunch! lol... barely enough room to fit in chicken mcnuggets student meal upsize in my stomach after eating chicken chop rice with coleslaw and added sunny side up for lunch.... LOL!!! finished it anyway... then... matthias went to meet his friend, while shayne went home.. stayed with haiqal... he play guitar! dam pro sia he.... i wanna be like him... =( i still remembered ~~parts~~ abit of twinkle twinkle little star tat he teached me a month ago or so...

i asked him to teach me the different notes in guitar.. and found out its quite similar to piano.. erm actually not tat similar la.. but i can see the semitones and tones in the guitar.. its similar to piano.. and i "roughly" know where the notes are in the guitar after that.. i also learnt how to play the bass of "do that thing you do" from him! LOL!!!!!!!! that 13 notes thingy took me like dunno how long to learn.. i musically-declined haha.... i not used to the fingering sia... hope i could get time to learn more from haiqal..

LUCKILY jereme got do his part... i compiled all the illustrations n put them in in school... and also add some animations... actually wanted to add another mini-game.. some kind of space invaders to our project other than the pacman, but in the end have ALOT problems.. decided not to add in the end.. FINALLY... THE GAME IS NOW A GAME! with all illustrations done... sounds added.. all codes working.. animations inside... hope its good.. =) ivory: the pacman with illustrated monsters is inside the game =)

after PDA... we have FCP.. field trip to DIGIPEN! well not really excited about it and somemore nearly wanted to not go... however, it was quite fun over there.. we played some award winning games and animations done by the students.. ALSO.. 2 person from double negative gave us a talk on visual effects... they were the guys who do visual effects on movies, such as cloverfield, bourne ultimatum, hellboy 2.... and also the recent batman movie... we are shown clips of actor in green screen acting.. then they use visual effects then make it look like the actors are really at the place... like in cloverfield... most of the new york are all CG, BUT THEY LOOK SO DAMN REAL LA... super pro sia...

well... on thursday i found out really cool stuff bout my friends LOL... choon yee is a pro at basketball.. actually dunno la... i nvr see anyone played previously before.. but then at arcade, wad he did really wow-ed me.. he like get 200 or so points for the hoop game... dam zai sia.. keep scoring again n again... also... he DAM PRO AT DRIVING... drifted like nobody's business in daytona... drop gear n pick up dam fast... hope he doesnt do tat on the streets as now he got his driving lesson.. if not very dangerous.. AND ALSO... as for beng boon... HE IS LIKE A DAM FREAKING PRO in those fighting games... he played the entire marvel game (dunno wad they call it.. i noob sia =() with just 1 credit. at home now.. rotting.. been playing back all the games.. its like been so long since i touched them... BIOSHOCK! woot! lol... seriously dam sian la.. got games to play, but then i still feel sian.. dunno y... lost my interest in games? come to think about it... i used to like play WoW 10hrs straight n still able to keep going... now is like... play bioshock for 1hr.. then sian le... WAD HAD HAPPENED TO ME?? I WANT TO BE ADDICTED TO GAMES AGAIN!!! ARRRGGHHH...

btw.. iPhone firmware 2.0 is now finally jailbroken! good job iPhone Dev Team! they are fast... jailbroke it like only less than 10days of release.. however, i think i m keeping my current firmware... i scared later games cannot run.. but then.. on bus to school today, i helped danial to mod his new psp.. it was official firmware 3.90 at 1st, but then i used my pandora battery and magic memory stick and changed it into 3.80 M33-5! WOOT! homebrew kick ass! lol... at 1st got problem... his new psp unable to play iso/cso games.. found out after like 15mins of wondering why it is unable to play even though its in M33 firmware... found out i forgot to set to use no-umd... haha =.= i so long nvr mod and play psp le... now skill loose liao lo.. LOL btw anyone nid to upgrade/unbrick/mod psp... can find me haha...

today got PDA!~~ haha... today oran showed us demo of the upcoming game from electronic arts - "Spore". he play around and make a creature.. or should i say MONSTER with the character creator.. after that, we did nothing related to work LOL... in the end played COD4 with him... ours different version cant play with him.. in the end he give us patch to play!~ woot! thanks oran! lol.. playing games with a lecturer in the middle of lesson? Yesterday went to sunshine plaza to print my PP1 book... total printing costs = $13 including binding. soooo much cheaper than printing in school... and somemore the paper quality is much better.... after that, went to changi airport with hong ching to take his photos... followed him cos i have nothing to do...

Today went to j and jas to cut hair in the afternoon... or should i say not much of cutting.. only noticeable change is that i have rebonded my fringe.... total costs $30... quite ok... cos the guy trim my hair n rebonded my fringe... and had to shampoo my hair twice LOL... now my hair got tat rebonding cream smell + strong strawberry smell from the shampoo.. haha... well... lucky i don't need to wait for long b4 my turn... about 1/2hr only... normally it takes bout 2hr or so... guess its because its lunch time.... took bout an hour and half to do my hair.. trimming and rebonding...

muahhahaha now is nearly done... most of part done.. we have total of 3 endings now.. some fine tuning i did here and there... and now in living room... u can change the background music!... btw the round round thing in living room tat changes the music is supposed to be a vinyl record.... wanted to do a calculator code... to ADD into our text-based adventure game... LOL act smart =.= do both choices of project.. =.= in the end... converted my dear calculator into a pin-entering kinda device, to use pin and unlock the door.... this is wad i have got... should be the final version of it.. took me quite a while to type the code... cos its repetitive... have to do code for all the numbers... the graphic also took me some time too... hope it looks good in my final game..

4th day of elearning. DRF n GDF. in drf we have to do 2 sketches of ppl dancing... they have provided us video of ppl dancing, and we have to choose a pose n draw........ i.hate.drawing. aiyo... so hard la.. have to draw boxes n what not... turned out to be ugly... see below for my ugly pics.

As for gdf, we have to submit the logo that we had done long ago... and also start doing our packaging template (or is it start handing in? i just started it... =.=)... eric say my logo ok... so i plan to keep it tat way... as for packaging.... i slack around for 2hrs before i actually START doing it... sorry eric... went to bathe... then went to find something to eat... then take lame shit photos that you can see below.... then edit those photos... then think about my PDA..... then went to find something to eat AGAIN.... then FINALLY started doing the packaging...

kinda finished all the coding yesterday... its more or less what our final game looks like... all the rooms are already there... all we need now is to replace those words and arrows in the rooms, with hong ching's superb illustrations... and also add a surprise twist in the ending.. ;) i had improved and refine the codes... such as u can see, the mouse now no longer show on stage, except at the panel part.... also, theres a key in the entire game... when u pick it up, it disappears from the stage, and reappears in your inventory! =)

had a chat on msn with oran yesterday afternoon, learned how to use sharedobjects in actionscript 2 online from him... sharedobjects are like your cookies in the web browser, and it saves information which can be retrieved later... i used it to store a boolean, to check whether you have the key in the inventory or not before unlocking the locked chest...

ok.. enough of programming talk... oran also told me....... he wont be teaching us for PSP... NOOOOOOOOO we will be taught programming by another person.... NOOOOOOO i wan oran to teach us programming =( hes good... =( however, he will be teaching us game design instead... in it, he will be teaching us the basic of game design, also like making card games or board games..... sounds fun! =) cant wait for it.... AND ALSO CANT WAIT FOR YR2.. UT 3 ENGINE I COMING!!! I WILL BE MAKING THE NEXT BIOSHOCK!!!

i noe its lame... but it took a programming noob like me a day to complete it... so many codes!! @.@ giddy lo... have to do stuff like moving the torchlight in relative to the mouse.. and also rotate it.............. most sickening part... in FLASH u cant rotate tat easily.. have to use trigonometry to do it... lucky i understand abit of the code.. thx to my A.Maths... i also had to make motion tweens to animate some stuff, like the ghosts in the background moving around... used boolean to detect the pressing of my key... using attachMovie to randomly attach the key to the stage.. basically i used everything tat i noe of flash to do it..

hope oran allow us to use this code in TEXT-based adventure game.. lol.. cos we are supposed to do only TEXT based.. but can add additional features.. if he do not allow i gonna use it for FCP.. muahahahhaah =)

today morning pda... lesson without oran... sian sia... me n jereme in lesson make tanks LOL... then we shoot each other =.= cos today the lesson about putting objects onto the stage and moving its coordinates.. we create projectiles n make the tank shoot them when we click it.. dam lame sia.. but fun =) LOL

later on, we are told to form groups of 2-3 to do an assignment.. we are supposed to make a text-based adventure game, or a calculator.. me, jereme and hong ching formed a team... we decided to make a text-based adventure game, with a surprise ending at the end! wink* wink*

during fcp in the afternoon, i didnt pay much attention.. was doing online quiz for IAC.. after fcp, we got DPM TEST!! sian sia... i think i just pass it only... MCQ still ok.. i hope i can score well...(cos its my only hope.) for short-essay question... most of the question is like asking us to spot the problems on the photo, n suggest ways to retake the photo... got few i put lame answer LOL...

for example... whats the different between shutter-priority, aperture-priority and manual mode... last part of my answer i go add "Manual mode makes me feel pro" LOL... i think either melvin will laugh or be very angry.. LOL.. also... for the last question.. bout how to retake the photo so that both foreground n background will be focused... i say use AUTO mode.. not ideal answer i noe.. but it will surely work 1 =.=

started to feel ill after DPM test... i think air-con too cold or something... gonna have flu lo... sian sia.. went to library after DPM test to do my 1500 words essay (or should i say book? 1500? u kidding?) in the end.. wrote bout 500 words essay but not even half way through the entire subject... gave up writing it. thought COMMT was the only ENGLISH thing we ever do in poly.. today i 1st time miss shuttle bus.. cos my 27/89 bus come late... make me late for the shuttle bus timing sia... then have to take 151 to school.. took like 1hr++ sian sia.... sia la.. LUCKY today i go school early... if i go at a later timing... if i miss shuttle bus i GG liao..

in drf today, we draw human body! lol... my 1 suck... anita keep complaining that my drawing the body too short n fat... i agree with her.. but dun feel like changing much... dam sian sia... during the break in the lesson, we went to canteen 2 to print n laminate our GDF logo that we need to hand in later on... the colour of printing is good... but then the lamination looks pathetic...

for gdf, ERIC FINALLY ACCEPT MY IDEA!!~~ WOOT!! lol... at last... my idea is finally good... anyway i come out with the idea after seeing a logo, similar to the russia hammer n sickle thingy... the coffee cup in the logo looks like a "C" so i turned it around n make it into the initials for the "coffee crew"..

today maya we learnt how to make a train!~ choo choo train kind of train! i made thomas the train!~ whoo woo!! actually paid attention n listened in class.. however, in the middle of lesson, me n matthias sneak out (or should i say.. walk out?) of the classroom to go CO-OP to buy tidbits!~ lol... i think zhi chao thought tat we going toilet =.=... he must be thinking wad we doing in toilet.. so long LOL...

after fcp, me, matthias, isnady, hongching, jereme, haiqal, choon yee, bengboon, ivory, jiamin (aiyo alot ppl hor... =X) went to IMM's daiso to get nice nice packaging for tmr's GDF lesson... bought 1 pink flower flower type of packaging lol..

after that, me matthias, jereme, haiqal went back to school to chat... the content of the chat is TOP SECRET.. pictures i took today.. =) took them using my macbook windows bootcamp.. at 1st cant take photo 1.. must go mac osx de photo booth to take.. till matthias told me tat can take in windows 1... =.=.. but mine got problem... after searching the internet, i found out my problem.. its a conflict with a video application.. uninstalled it n it works perfect now!

Today damn sian.. came to school early to finish up my PP1.. i still have pictures yet to be scanned.. and text yet to be typed out... and we need to show the printed 1 to anita today for the marks... managed to scan and place the pictures in my layout, but dun felt like continue to do my text... in the end, i drew all 5 hand sketches required for DRF...

in class today, anita doesn't seems too happy.. cant blame her.. nearly the entire class except for nisha and rachael didnt print the PP1 project..... anita then allowed us to go print it and show/present it to the class before 11am...

went to the printing shop near canteen 2 to print my 10 pages of "wonderful" work.. printing is like so slow la... dunno why.. but everytime wan to print something oso slow... or is got problem 1... seems like all the printers in the world doesnt like to print last minute stuff... same goes for the 1 in bukit timah plaza... went to canteen 2 to eat with jereme while waiting for the slow printer to churn out our work...

DPM was not fun at all too... we had to do NEC thing.. did 1 in like 10minutes, i turned the NEC projector into a C4 bomb, similar to those found in counter-strike... quite ugly.. but at least i did something in class =) after that, we watched youtube videos... from... painting mona lisa in MS Paint to movies trailers to magic tricks... lol... is like we think of wad then we go search n watch... realli dam sian sia...

(starts at zero.. but after ALOT of previewing of my blog after little changes... its at the number it is now...) and my page title has been changed... its a cool shuffling effect (or wadever they call it..) tat changes to my title - kokSpot. after a random duration... now i got the hang of html coding already!

did my 1st illustration out of 2 for my pp1 today.. its a ferrari enzo!!! decided to do an illustration on car as i think its easy.. turns out not to be.. but done it anyway... after like 2hrs zzzzzz....

happened to see a tutorial of it on youtube... look below for an explanation...
theres a piece of plastic stuck underneath the card... (plastic taken from my trusty old secondary 3 biology file..) i guess u should know how to do it frm here...

phew... pda test over... to me.. its so-so... hope i am able to do well for it... =X expected an A... =) went to king albert park mac to eat lunch with matthias, isnady and choon yee... isnady requested for a happy meal box for his gdf packaging design LOL!!

after lunch, we went back to class... our nxt lesson is at LT, which is a talk by a guest lecture frm cabalsoft! had mixed feelings about it... i wanted to know more about the gaming industry.. but then... ANYTHING that happens in LT.... is going to be DEAD BORING... i guessed correctly... LOL.. nearly doze off during middle of the speech...

after tat, i went to library to do up this blog! its nicer looking now isnt it? =)
